Warm Bodies (2013)

After R (a highly unusual zombie) saves Julie from an attack, the two form a relationship that sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world.

Just watched this and I thought it was O.K. Nothing special. Maybe it is because I went with high expectations (someone on the Radio said it was hilarious) or maybe it was the fact that ‘R’ was struggling to speak (being a Zombie and all)…I just didn’t have the patience to watch him put two sentences together for like more than an hr!
Otherwise it is a charming movie. If you want the laughs then watch ‘I give it a year’.
Nicholas Hoult is so dashing. He is making some great career choices, quite varied roles. He also has a franchise (Marvel’s X-Men) which you really need these days to raise your profile in Hollywood.
Theresa Palmer looks so much like Kristen Stewart with one exception: she can act and the lip-biter can’t.
It’s not BAD but if there was a DVD sale and it was going for 99p I wouldn’t buy it, because I will not be watching it again. Once was quite enough.
